New Star Wars Art

My Star Wars 3D pop art has been extremely popular.  Many people buy them for their home, office or to hang in their  child's bedroom.

Lots of times, I get questions asking if I have any additional Star Wars characters available other than Darth Vader, C3PO, R2-D2 and Boba Fett.  The most popular request I've had is for a Yoda piece.

Well, I'm happy to announce that I've now added Yoda to my 3D pop art collection.  He is available in a beautiful 7x5" black, shadowbox frame.

Yoda looks great next to his other Star Wars "friends."

Monster Mania 21

I had an amazing time vending at Monster Mania 21.  I teamed up with UNMASKED, who was selling a wide variety of collectibles.  We had a very successful show, met some interesting people, and can't wait to do it all again at Monster Mania 22 on August 17-19.

Here are some pictures of the PopsicArt and UNMASKED display.

Little Jerry Garcia

It's so much fun to create 3D pop art based on some of my favorite musicians.  My 10x10" Jerry Garcia artwork has been very popular.

Recently, I reworked Jerry for a custom art commission. I liked the way the reworked Jerry looked (he's super cute) that I decided to tweak him further and make him into a 5x7" pop art piece available to everyone.

Jerry is rendered in 2D while his face and guitar are in 3D.

The artwork includes a beautiful black shadow box frame.

It’s the perfect piece for the music fan in your life.

The three dimensional effects of this artwork really make it "pop."

The artwork is hand signed.

Dimensions: 7x5″ framed.

The classic 10x10" Jerry Garcia pop artwork is available separately by clicking HERE.

Don Corleone

How do I even express my love for the Godfather movies?  I don't think I can.

No movie character -- not Darth Vader, not Indiana Jones, not even Freddy Krueger -- can possibly compare to Don Vito Corleone.

He could be the most quotable movie character ever!

Just check out some of these lines:

"Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But uh, until that day, accept this justice as a gift on my daughter's wedding day." Don Corleone to Bonasera

"A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man." Don Corleone to Johnny Fontane.

"Never tell anybody outside the family what you're thinking again." Don Corleone to Sonny

"I never wanted this for you. I work my whole life--I don't apologize--to take care of my family, and I refused to be a fool, dancing on the string held by all those bigshots. I don't apologize--that's my life--but I thought that, that when it was your time, that you would be the one to hold the string. Senator Corleone; Governor Corleone. Well, this wasn't enough time, Michael. It wasn't enough time." Don Vito to Michael

"I have a sentimental weakness for my children and I spoil them, as you can see. They talk when they should be listening." Don Vito to Sollozzo, referring to Sonny

In fact, Vito Corleone's most famous line "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse," is the #2 movie quote of all time, according to AFI.

But as famous and as great as that line is, it's not my favorite.  My favorite quote from the Don is when he is sitting in the conference room with the other Dons and say this, regarding Michael:

"But I'm a superstitious man. And if some unlucky accident should befall him - If he should get shot in the head by a police officer, or if he should hang himself in his jail cell - or if he's struck by a bolt of lightning, them I'm going to blame some of the people in this room, and that I do not forgive. But, that aside, let me say that I swear, on the souls of my grandchildren, that I will not be the one to break the peace we've made here today."

It's like mafia poetry.

I always wanted to pay tribute to my all-time favorite movie character so I created a 3D pop art piece of Don Vito Corleone.

Don Corleone is rendered in 2D, while his face and hand are in 3D.The artwork comes framed in a beautiful black shadow box frame, measuring 10x10."

I hope it's an offer you can't refuse.

Captain Spaulding

It's everyone's favorite fried chicken eating clown Captain Spaulding.

Directly from the House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects comes Captain Spaulding; the murderous clown and patriarch of the Firefly Family.

Although I certainly enjoyed House of 1000 Corpses, in my opinion The Devil's Rejects is a better movie.  I absolutely loved it; especially the ending where the Firefly Family is riding in their blue convertible, shots blazing in the police shootout as Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird plays.  It's amazing!

As a tribute to my favorite character in those movies, I created this Captain Spaulding 3D pop artwork.

The 3D papercut artwork is cut and assembled by hand.

Captain Spaulding's body is in 3D, while his face, hat and fried chicken are in 3D.

The artwork comes framed in black shadow box frame. The artwork is hand signed.

Dimensions: 10x10" framed
